Weyburn Wildlife Federation has started something new in 2022. We are holding our own scholarships so we can give back to our community and our members! This way we can reach all our WWF members families!
If you are a grade 12 student and met either of our criteria please click the button below to fill out our Applications form.

Below are the conditions for our scholarship. Please read carefully as there are two sets of criteria, A and B, you must pick one. All applicants will be reviewed by the Weyburn Wildlife Federation Scholarship Fund Committee, and applicants must meet either Criteria A or Criteria B in order to be considered for this scholarship.
If we do not have a suitable applicant, it will not be awarded for the year. If this occurs, should there be more than one applicant that meets our conditions in the following year, up to two awards may be given out for Weyburn Wildlife Federation Scholarship.
Following Criteria:
Criteria A

Preference given to individuals attending educational institutes based in Saskatchewan

Applicant must be a high school student entering post-secondary education.

Applicant must hold a current 2025 Weyburn Wildlife Federation membership or the applicant’s parent(s) must hold an active family membership and have history with our organization.

Applicants must include a 1500 word essay outlining their future education endeavors within the field of interest of the Weyburn Wildlife Federation in conservation, ecology, environmental science, animal sciences, biology, agriculture, or natural resources based education.

Applicant must be involved in their community, school and have completed volunteer work

Letter of recommendation required from any volunteer experience organizer and/or organization.

Applicant must show enthusiasm towards the WWF activities in and around our community
Criteria B (for those without a WWF Membership)

Preference given to individuals attending educational institutes based in Saskatchewan

Applicant must be high school students entering post-secondary education.

Applicant must include a 500 word essay detailing time spent actively working towards conservation of some sort

Applicants must include a 1500 word essay outlining their future education endeavors within the field of interest of the Weyburn Wildlife Federation in conservation, ecology, environmental science, animal sciences, biology, agriculture, or natural resource-based
education -
Applicant must be involved in their community, school and have completed volunteer work
