Attention all Weyburn Wildlife Federation Archery Members.
Goodwater Archery Range is opened to members.
Archery Club
Weyburn Wildlife Federation Archery group started in March of 2013. A small group looked into renting the curling rink from the Goodwater Community Center to open an indoor archery range. The indoor archery range was all possible with help from local business. Thanks goes to Weyburn Coop (cardboard bails for Target backstops), Cenovus Energy and Weyburn Westrum Lumber for donation of the ¾ inch plywood floor and Canadian Tire for the donation of 8 Morrell Yellow Jacket target bags.
July 2013 the indoor archery range was open for business. In February 22, 2014 the Weyburn Wildlife Federation held their Grand opening. With the indoor range facilities members are able to practice throughout the year no matter the weather in this new 4,300 square foot indoor archery range. The shoot range offer a six lane, 10 yard by 40 yard heated indoor archery range. The range is currently located in the town of Goodwater Saskatchewan, which is a short 25 minute drive South on Hwy 35 South.
The Weyburn Wildlife Federation Archery group will host a couple 3D shoot per year indoor and outdoor.
In 2020 we received a grant from RM of Weyburn to update and replace our 3D target. Thanks to them we can continue to host events though out the year!
